AGAPE FOOD PANTRY
Agape maintains a separate building known as the Client Services Building. It is here that we operate the Agape Choice Pantry, administer all Agape Programs, and maintain food inventory, administrative offices and other needs of the organization. It is here that we also have a small worship area known as our House of Hope.
The Client Services Building is located at 1220 East Spring Street in St. Marys, Ohio, just one block north of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
Food assistance may be received every 30 days. All clients will be asked to sign a USDA Eligibility to Take Food Home Form which clearly states that by signing you are providing a self declaration that your income does not exceed 200% of the poverty level per household size. Clients will also be asked if all information is still accurate or if changes should be made to their file.
In order to assure assistance, we ask that clients arrive at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to the ending time for each pantry period. This allows our volunteers to best serve all those in need.
To be eligible to receive food from the Agape Food Pantry, you must be a resident of Western Auglaize County which covers Minster, New Bremen, New Knoxville and St. Marys. Picture identification is required for all residents of a household who are 18 years of age or older. This can be a Driver’s License, State Identification, Student Identification, etc. A proof of residency is required each and every time a visit is made to the Agape Pantry. This must be a legitimate piece of mail with the individuals name, address and a visible date not exceeding thirty (30) days prior to the visit for all residents of the household who are 18 years of age or older. An example of this would be a utility bill, cable bill, telephone bill, etc.
Agape Food Pantry provides its services with Compassion, Honesty, Respect, Integrity, Support and Thoughtfulness.
