Emergency Clothing Pantry
This program provides specified clothing items to our clients that have experienced an emergency in their lives. We also coordinate this program with emergency agencies in conjunction with the Disaster Relief Program.
Agape Financial Aid Program
This program provides coordinated and united assistance to families in crisis situations, where a small amount of financial assistance can help alleviate an immediate need. Help is provided on a discretionary basis for such items as medication, gasoline for emergency medical visits and small utility bills. Appropriate documentation is required.
Senior Box Program
This program provides food to seniors who are homebound each month. A food box is delivered to homebound seniors on the fourth Wednesday of each month. These food boxes are packed at Agape and picked up by the Auglaize County Council on Aging and delivered to seniors.
Disaster Relief Program
Agape coordinates efforts with various emergency agencies that include but are not limited to local fire and police departments, Red Cross, Auglaize County Recovery Function and others. Agape assists where needed.
Back Pack Program
This program provides a brand new back pack and basic school supplies to schools in Western Auglaize County for distribution to students in need.
Summer Feeding Program
Agape is proud to be able to provide the additional food for students, in grades 1 through 12, during the summer months when they are not receiving the free and reduced breakfast and lunch programs they are enrolled in during the school year.
Garden for Agape Program
We appreciate help in providing fresh produce (vegetables and fruit) to our clients during the year. If you are going to put out a garden, we ask that you plant extra and share the harvest with Agape. This provides fresh produce to those who can not afford to purchase it from the groceries. It also provides a healthy alternative for our clientele throughout the year.
One Warm Coat Program
Agape coordinates efforts with the National network of One Warm Coat. This program collects new and gently used coats during a designated period and offers them free to residents, in need, in Western Auglaize County. This keeps adults and children warm during the winter months.
Slumber Fun Program
This program provides a brand new pair of pajamas, a new blanket, a new pair of slipper socks, assorted personal hygiene items and where age appropriate, a small toy each year from Thanksgiving until Christmas. This reaches children from birth to 18 years of age that would not necessarily have Christmas gifts.
Warm Feet Program
We receive new socks throughout the year and offer them free to our clients that are in need. We know that keeping feet warm is very important any time during the year.
Hats, Gloves, Scarves and Mittens Program
Agape collects these new items and offers them free to residents in Western Auglaize County during the winter months.
