How you can help – Donate – Get Involved

By donating to Agape you are helping people in your own community and making a difference in their lives.

Donations can include, for example, clothing, books, household items, and so much more.  We gladly accept donations during our regular business hours.  The sale of these items, in our store, allows us to provide the necessary services to those in need.

When you donate to our Thrift Store, you can request a receipt for tax purposes.  We are an IRS authorized 501©3 tax exempt organization.  Your donations are deductible for income tax purposes.

Agape Thrift Store is always grateful for your thinking of us.  However, there are some things that we cannot accept.  If you have questions concerning items to donate, please call us at (419) 394-8700.

Non-perishable food items can be dropped off at the Thrift Store or the Client Services Building during regular business hours.  If you are donating perishable food items, please let us know during the time of the donation.

Monetary donations are also welcome.  If you would like to designate your monetary gift to a certain area of our ministry, please indicate this information at the time of your donation.  You can drop off donations or mail them to Agape Ministries, Inc. at 1220 East Spring Street, St. Marys, OH  45885.

Volunteers are the much needed and much valued part of Agape.  We could not fulfill our mission if it were not for these dedicated individuals.

A volunteer can be as involved as their time allows.  We welcome your time and your dedication.  Whether you choose to just come in when you have some free time or you want to set a designated day each week, it is entirely up to you.

We also welcome youth groups from schools and/or churches.  There are opportunities for students in need of acquiring community service hours for scholarships or church requirements.

Please stop into either building and let us know that you want to volunteer.

Thank you for your generous support.
